HILARY GANDER

I established Level Vision in 2006 because I want to help people, and the organisations they work for, achieve their full potential. I work with individuals and teams, focusing particularly on self-awareness and the effectiveness of their interactions.

I passionately believe the way people communicate with each other can make the difference between success and failure.

Misunderstanding each other’s motives can cause projects to stutter and fail. And that applies to huge corporate bodies as well as to small local companies or local government.

My clients range from global technology and consultancy firms to members of local councils.

Career background
As director of the global Leadership School within a multi-disciplined consulting and technology company. I designed, built and ran ground-breaking learning programmes focused on developing high potential senior executives while maintaining the focus on the company’s strategic initiatives.

Before this, I spent 15 years as a project manager and management consultant in financial services running complex business and IT projects in sales, marketing, administration and finance. My greatest challenges and rewards came from creating high performing, multi-disciplined teams.

Qualifications
I am a master certified iLead consultant, I’ve completed the Coactive Coaching Curriculum and I have a post-graduate diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring from the Institute of Leadership & Management. I have a degree in French and English (Combined Honours) and an overwhelming curiosity about languages.

My dream is to make a difference in the urgent battle against climate change, which is going to take a huge collective effort to solve.

I was elected as a councillor in the Royal Borough of Kingston in 2014 and served 8 years. For three years I was Portfolio Holder for Environment & Sustainable Transport (plus 4 years prior in opposition) where I championed active transport and sustainability.
